  • Underground Sample Beat [Samples the 60s Batman TV Show)

New beat: Sampled the 60's Batman TV Show:

    MP3 Player SoundClick

Really trying to dive in deep with these underground type beats -- love the sound and people seem to dig the style so that only makes me want to commit to it even further

This is also the beat I'm using for my cypher for this month -- the beat is split into 2 sections so what I'm doing is asking people to find someone else to jump on the track with and submit like a "dual" entry

I really like what u did wit this beat and nice attempt on the chopping around the 50sec mark. You need something extra there, where the loop is being chopped into your own own. You need an MPC if u like choppin up random ass samples into melodies. or a machine i guess. im ridin wit the MPC2500 fully upgraded, wit the JJOS and XL Screen. If u like making these kind of beats i would highly recommend one.

out of curiosity, who are your top 3-5 producers?

I was thinking about getting an MPC controller actually -- probably wouldn't get a full-out MPC unless I came across a nice deal on a used one but it definitely is something I'm considering and keeping an eye open for if I happen upon one; I'm definitely gonna be diving deeper into this sort of underground sound so I'm very open to the idea since getting that natural chopped up sound is ideal

as far as my top producers -- my "overall favs" are pretty standard; Dilla, Premier, 9th Wonder, etc

But here's a few that I've been getting into more recently:
      Nujabes
      Clams Casino
      Emile

And there's this dude on YouTube named DA who I really enjoy:
