4 New Beats

Invested pretty much time in this lately, so here are 4 new ones, would be nice if yall could take a short listen to some of them

I didn't really like the first one; the drums were hard as fuck but the rest of the beat felt to, like, happy/uplifting. The tonality was just too bright

ohhh and then when everything drops in at the 1 minute mark, there's definitely something going on that's way out of key :/
Those drums hit fucking nice though, imo, keep them drums and start over with the rest



2nd beat basically has the same problems as the first for me :/


3rd one is getting closer to what I'd like to hear, but the sound sources are too generic; just sounds like some stock VSTs with the basic presets :/



eh, 4th one is meh




imo the drums are what you're doing best, but you just need the rest of the beat to be on the same level/vibe as the drums; play around with some better sound sources and VSTs and layer up those instruments -- you're on the right track though

Get some better sounds. Some of the stuff in there is too generic. I dont like the synths too well. Prolly add some reverb on the snare. The 2nd melody that comes in with the fill at around the 1min mark would be hot if it was real horns. Composition is solid, you just need better instruments.

Use a straight up violin or something like that for that string intro. Horns sound perfect. REALLY like this one, just not that string you're using. Horn stabs are even perfect. With this, it'd prolly be good to add some delay and reverb to some of the sounds and try to get some more realistic sounds to improve.

Don't like that horn at all. Like the hi-hats. I see what you're trying to do here and its solid. With some fine tuning this could be amazing. Just need to get the right sounds in there.

I like the vibe of this track, but the synths just are doing it for me. Fix that element and you got another great beat. Hits hard.

how long have you been making beats? ... I'm curious because the sound packages you use sound very beginner-ish, I mean the format and stuff I can dig, but keep grinding and upgrade the sounds and open your mind to more creativity when creating the beats. Try to develop into your own.
