You have the versatility to turn a mainstream type track into some lyrical shit, but this isn't your best. Maybe you're rusty. Even the great Neil Young says Rust Never Sleeps. Maybe someone else wrote this, you got to the Stu and it was ready to go. You wrote this verse in 5-10 minutes. I'm a Cli City STAN. Fuck a nigga thoughts. I mean, even when that shit with the Nickz track and shit happened, I'd dissect your verses. Go through em to catch every line and feel everything you're saying. This one just doesn't hit me man. It's different than your usual style but I just expected so much more. Give me that Cli I need. I fuck with you no matter what, but I need that introspective my nigga. Hook was definitely ill... Wasnt expecting this from ol' Cli-City. Definitely different, and not necessarily in a bad way. With the right swag added to that hook, it could go far. Beat is missing that "something" that takes it over the top. Cli's verse, for what the track is, works. I fucks with this. Reminds me of when Sharoyce would make swag records.
