Like when i go to my real local studio they got like the full keyboard,mixer,condensed mic & everything. but when im just at homie i have the recording software,a mic,A Sterling ST51 is a good mic to use. One problem with that is, it runs on Phantom Power and is so strong your comp wont directly be able to power it so you will have to get a mic preamp which is going to run you another $75 on top of the mic being $100. but i got ppl that hook me up.
