Ok let me go through a few things with you guys, This section is for posting Music/Lyrics/Etc. Thats cool, but shits getting a bit boring, people are making threads with a few lines they call "Lyrics" and people rarely feedback, it bores you right? Well idc if it doesn't bore you, it bores me so im gonna change that.
Im introducing lots of new activities in this section which will create a better atmosphere here and raise awareness in the other sections that this section isn't just about posting shit lyrics and making crap songs (Of course not). Right so, read my plans. Now all these things cannot happen at the same time, you guys gotta be patient and wait for me to organise it ok?
1. The Rap Index:
This will be like a Hall of Fame, you made a good song recently? Then it will go in the Index. All Rappers/Producers should have been registered into the Index, making it easier for you guys to collaborate with each other and know the other rappers you're competing with. Ya dig?
2. Track of the Month:
Every month ill be hosting this event, you have to nominate which track you think is the best and has been posted in the Studio in that particular month. The winning song will be placed into the Rap Index along with the creator of the song. The artist who made the song will also recieve a special sig which they can proudly use in this forum.
3. SwagStar
Yeah Im gonna use this name, its pretty cool. Shoutout to whoever made it. The Swagstar is a competition in which any rapper can compete in, I will post a beat and you guys have 1 week to rap over the beat and send your finished version to me. Ill then make a thread with all the finished versions and you guys will all vote for whichever one you thought was best. The winner will go into the Rap index and will recieve a cool sig. (You get bragging rights lolol)
4. Rap battles
For those that don't record, have no fear, you guys can also compete and get your names up in the rap index. To get a rap battling match, you must challenge another member or be challenged by another member. You MAY NOT call someone out in a random thread. Contact them in PM or call them out in the rap index. The rules of Rap Battling is freestyle, no theme. The people choose the winner. Each battler gets up to 2 posts of rap battling. The audience may not post until all 4 posts have been posted. (REMEMBER THIS)
You must state who you vote for, I do not want things to be rigged so I will only take votes in which people post for who they want as well.
5. Studio Awards
This is practically like the grammys, you nominate the best Rapper, Best Producer, Best Track, Best Collaboration, and the person or track with the most nominations will win. There name will be added into the rap index and will be known as the best rapper/producer. This will be hosted once every 6 months or year. This seriously is the best prize.
6. The Crew Battles
This is the competition where you and your crew face another crew on HQ. Both teams will release 2 songs that may contain disses.You may collaborate with ONLY those from your own crew. Therefore your crew MUST also make its own beat and have its own rappers rap over it. People will vote on which crew had the better songs. Remember its not all about dissing, its about the quality of the songs too. The winning team will get bragging rights and will be entered into the Rap index.
