"One of the bigger hassles in editing voice audio tracks is cleaning up loud pops in the recording where plosive 'p' and 'b' sounds cause a burst of volume. These are easily avoided by placing a screen between the person speaking or singing and the microphone. By creating a fixed distance between the vocalist and the microphone you get the added bonus of reducing sibilant sounds made through speaking words with 's' and 'ch'."

Does anyone have Propellerhead's Record? I've been reading about it for a minute and I wanted to try it out. If not, I'll just buy the software from sweet water or musician's friend. I wanna save up for a 4track pocket recorder but i cant stop buyin Ed Hardy, Akoo, Konvict and 8732.
Does anybody know where to get free loops and VST plugins for Pro Tools?

A pop filter actually captures most of your excess breathe that you dont want to hit the mic. Its also a great spit guard and keeps you from having to clean out the microphone. I would suggest getting a Reflexxion filter put behind the mic if you want sound not to escape during the session. Its some studio quality shit.
