Hard // Verdict: 4.2/5
Now that's quality right there. I started vibin to this right off the rip. I'm a sucker for good horns, even though these are synth horns. They still work hella well. Nice work for one you did the day of posting everything lol. Your production skills are too nice right now. Other producers better beware.

Shine // Verdict: 3.8/5
That hi-hat is serious. Very west coast feel with the whine. Is that a snare/clap? Sounds really nice. Felt like it ended to quickly though. Could have gone another verse.

Low // Verdict: 3/5
Dunno about this one... Something about it seems off to me. Has a decent vibe to it, but I just can't get into it.

Hater // Verdict: 3.6/5
I like the bouncy feeling of this one that the kick provides. Those rolling hats really set it off as well. I think with some more tweaking though, this one could be a real banger. Maybe with some added effects like a tape stop here and there and a bit more variety. I still feel it could hit harder as well.

Go Down // Verdict: 3/5
I dont like any of instrumentation leading into this. Don't like that synth or the keys. The bassline and hats are solid and the same pairs well with them. I'd say try this with different instruments for the melody and such, but keep the bassline as is.

Dopeman // Verdict: 3.8/5
I'd say try a regular piano, like a grand piano sound rather than that synth one. Not bad, but ends weird too.

Try Me // Verdict: 4.1/5
I really like the mood of this one. I almost feel the hi-hat could be more "crisp". All the instruments and sounds are on point, with the hi-hat being the only exception, but it's still workable. Has a real gangsta feel to it. Nice and ominous. I could see Machete Myk get on something like this.

Pyrex // Verdict: 3.7/5
I like that kick on this one. Maybe give it a little more reverb. This reminds me of a Gucci Mane beat for some reason. Maybe its the name "Pyrex", but it does seem to have a classic trap vibe to it. Not my favorite one, but still a very solid beat.

So what's the story with these? Throw aways from back in the day, or testing out mixes and compositions of instruments? Ever thought of going Kanye with some of em and having kinda "All Day" jam session at the end with the instruments?

thought the poppish synth and piano going into a hard beat would be nice. Also I should've used more reverb on that hit or even layered it.

This one was actually just a bullshit beat from a while ago. Surprised you liked it so much.




Just testing different sounds and melodies out. Also I made them short because SoundCloud's storage is based on length, not size. So I did that to put off deleting old shit.
That jam session thing would be cool. Sometimes I come up with parts that would be cool to put in but would just overcrowd it.
