  • Artille - Heavy Artillery (Mixtape)

Hello all, I'm back, this time with a new mixtape titled Heavy Artillery. This is my first official project, containing ten tracks (four original and six remixes over classic instrumentals) that I recorded in 2015. The only feature on the tape is from my friend Anthony aka Young Apollo. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Enjoy and happy new year!

    Feedback:

    E-LOW - Close Edge (((E-MIX)))
Kon Sweetie - Booty Call (Prod. by Mothman)

Listened to it all last night. Quality work from an exceptional rapper. Great job my friend. Keep up the great work. I'm anxious to listen to the next tape. Just don't make us wait a few years for it to come out lol.

Thanks for listening broski! I promise not to take forever on this next project and I hope to get a feature from you for it. Next tape will be all original music, no more remixes. I plan on recording much more this year than last.

yo, I'm bout listened to the whole thing just now, I'm on track 8, honestly I was pretty tried before this track. but THIS track though,(after i heard this track and the next one) the whole mixtape should've been these last 3 tracks. FINALLY youSNAPPED like I wanted you to. The whole time I was thinking why is he approaching each beat the same way, why is he rapping so unconcern ably like, and then you turned around and rapped the exact same way you was been needing to the whole time. Not gunna lie, I like that vulrnerability that you showed with those first half of tracks on here. you knew they weren't as good as the last 3, so you structured each track in a way to where each got better until the finale, I was thinking in my head while listening to track 7, song wise this was the best one so far out of the whole tape but you hadn't SNAPPED yet and then track 8 BANG noowww you spitting. and after that the momemtum never fell. I liked that. but I CANNOt in good graces give this a grade more than a 6, because like the first 7 songs are SO overbearingly not enough and it almost becomes like, like that' s enough haha lol, until you catch it before it drops at the LAST minute. and ALMOST saves the project at the end. yo next mixtape finna be some fire I'm not even finna sit here and lie to you. but if you're goina do it like that, make it to like where the project starts off with songs that sound as good as the last three on this, and flunctuate your flow to where it's headed. (the general flow of the album, how you design it) I don't have nothing else to say about this right now, I give this a 6 but you rapped yo AS off at the end.

        6 it's straight -_-

I have to disagree with you on the first half of the tape being weak. Comparatively, Real Talk (track 1) and Don't Laugh (track 10) are very similar in structure, flow, and lyrical content. I think if you relistened you would form a different opinion. Nonetheless, I appreciate the detailed feedback and all criticism is welcome. Thank you for taking time out of your day to listen to the entire project.

So i'm listening right now at work to your tape and i like the overall quality of the your product, it's a good mix and master , your rhymes are tight and i see you can go from r&b to rap to trap, it s all good.I ll give it an 8 , maybe 8.5 it s pretty tight.Congrats
