    YES! Thats what i was doing!

    Lyrics
    Imma fuckin' monster, something like the lochness
    Hate on me, i let the cops outline you in chalk bitch
    Dont talk shit, ill switch the flow up
    Switch the flow up motherfucka, now your brains stuck
    You all lame fucks, yall aint got distinction
    With one verse, yall in extinction
    My careers on the Uprise, like a Highrise
    I stay smokin' on that Afghan, no surprise
    I see you from my Estate, walkin' past the Terminal
    Now you're by the Underpass, you see me and get worry-ful
    Yall careers under Quarry, my words like Invasion
    Kill you at the Wasteland, this aint the first occasion
    Throw ya body in the Scrapyard, wait oh fuck
    Gotta throw the evidence away, and let the bitch Rust
    Victory at the end, that is a must
    We beasts, you aint fuckin' with us

          i like to listen to stuff a few times before i cast judgment. something wrong with that? besides I was recording a submission for that Tourney and that stuff takes up time. So, I'll wait on an actual review of it, but for now I'll say its alright. Good beat selection, good inflection when spitting your raps, and I think as far as features go you chose a good line-up.

                        "MYKILL REVIEWS YOUR SHIT" starring YOUR MIXTAPE and of course MYKILL
                        ================================================
                        First of all, I just wanna say I chuckle every time I hear you say "Mod-er-in". Now that I know its a Canadian thing, I'm probably gonna pick on Canadians a whole lot more. My friend actually lives in Toronto and I pick on him enough, so you gave me more fuel for the fire. Anyways, time to review Modern Hip-hop 2. Now, I'm not privy to the previous iteration, not actually listening to it and all, but I have high expectations.

                        LYRICS/FLOW /////============================

                        The usual affair. Nothing stand-out-ish. Just your usually assortment of good punchlines sprinkled with the "it" words we deal with daily. There's a lot of moments when your flow gets off beat. Hooks are kinda unimaginative. Sometimes when you rap fast you get off beat. I dont understand your rhyme scheme sometimes.

                        FEATURES /////============================

                        Dreezy - Consistently well, in every occasion. Go get Based Eagle.
                        Nurse - Great effort.
                        Young Juve - Amazing.
                        Young Fire - Very nice.
                        Lil Roe - What happened to this guy?
                        Craz - Fun to listen to.

                        STAND-OUT SONGS /////============================

                        Watch You're Life - Upon listening to this track again after finishing the review I subtracted 1 point from the overall score. Yeah, I'm a douche.

                        Hard (Freestyle) - There were some pauses that seemed like dead air. Maybe there should have been some kinda ad-lib or something in there to make the song flow better.

                        Cheerleader, Suspects, Ready for War*, Sticks and Stones - Great tracks. The best on the tape. (*even though the hook is unimaginative)

                        Rockstar (Freestyle) - Good job, very "epic" feel.

                        I'm a Monsta - Dont like the ending. Fades out all of a sudden. Weird.

                        Now You Fucked Up - What's the point of this track? "I wasnt allowed in, but now I'm in" Did you really just rhyme in with IN? Maybe if it was more eloquent of a track it would work better, but I dunno.

                        PRODUCTION /////============================

                        Ridiculously on par. Prest' and everyone did a great job on each track. One thing you can't knock YNR for having is good production. Mixtape cover, tracks, and all.

                        Concept wise a lot of things work on this tape. I wish the "Skits" were more themed towards war/modern hip-hop etc instead of just random game audios, but that's me asking for way more than is necessary.

                        ====================================DRUMROOOOOLLLL...

                        OVERALL SCORE: 71 / 100

                        "YNR does not disappoint us with the second outing of Modern Hip-Hop. His ability to surround himself with great producers and great artists pays off as we received a product that surpasses the usual assortment of things. Although sometimes YNR is out-shined by the people he has features with, he maintains the same level on each track showing his ability to deliver and his ability to keep us wanting to hear from him. What I would like to see is more versatility, because the beginnings are there if you look hard enough. Modern Hip-Hop 2 is the next step towards greatness for YNR, and if you haven't heard it - what are you waiting for?"
