Alright you guys ask for the staff to let you guys know whats going on behind the scenes. Well let me list a few things planned to come in the near future.

CONFIRMED

Award System: As we finally have a reason for it, with the start of the Sig of the Month, this will be added to your profiles and possibly the sidebar. There will be more reasons for it down the road, but it is best to get it setup and added now. This will be added in the next couple days.

New Moderators: There will be new moderators added very soon. Likely through an application process, but we may just announce a new one in the coming days. Be on the lookout for either an announcement at the top for the application or a new thread in the Headquarters section with all of the announcements. Unconfirmed how many will be added or if any will be removed.

Chrome Support: For all of our Google Chrome users (and any other program that has this problem) Danny will be fixing the BB codes that disallow the "Preview" view. Currently you can only view it as a code while you are writing or editing a post, but soon Danny will make it like it is for Firefox.

New Theme: As many of you have been wanting (Danny and I included) there will be a new theme coming soon. I don't know how long from now this will be, but I can confirm it will not be this month. The theme will be dark, possible a black/red/white theme, but it will definitely be dark.

Reputation System Edit: Currently every 100 points of rep will move you up a bar and many of our members already have 7 bars. We will edit this to make it mean more when you get a bar. Also, I'm not sure if this is already in affect, but we will be making it so you can only give a certain amount of reputation per day.

UNCONFIRMED

Removal of Quick Reply: Danny does not like this feature at all because it allows for more spam. I am personally starting to get annoyed with it myself. If we don't end up removing it then we will definitely be adding the alignment options to it. Sorry to some, but we will not be adding smilies to the Quick Reply box.

Thanks for all of the replies. I have spoken with Danny about the Quick Reply and it is staying. He will probably just add the alignment options to it, but smilies wil never be added as I stated before. He doesn't like that and thinks it makes creating dumb posts easier.

New mods ARE coming soon (sooner than you think), but he will not be doing the application process. When I say soon I mean maybe today, but it all depends what he is able to do and if he gets on the forums or not. Be aware, if you are not chosen from the list of recommendations that he was given, that it isn't because you are necessarily unfit for the position, but others are more fit for it.

@wolverine - Yes, there will be other awards down the road. Studio awards, forum awards, etc. For now however, just SotM.


Anyways, as much as I like the props, I would rather here your guys' ideas. They are more important.

EDIT: @ Yf, you're most likely right.
Oh and is there anyway a Lil Wayne HQ app could exist? I know there has been talk of this before.

Seem's as if the decision's are made. Seeing as the new mod could be put into position today.
