Ever since Dj Scoob tweeted carter 4 is 93% done i'm a little bit concerned. I don't want a wayne album that took less than a month to do. I mean the only person who can really short work on album and make it great is Jay-Z and that was the blueprint which was made in two days. I want wayne to put more time and effort with this album. I think he shouldn't even be at 1/4 of the way done. If really wants positive feed back and to stay in the game, he better come out with something that Murders Carter 2 instead of giving us that shit of a show album IANAHB. Not only that new subjects and dark depth in lyrics. Your thoughts?

Re: Standards for Carter 4.
I think Scoob is bullshitting that the album is 93% done. I also don't think it's really possible to come out with an album that "murders" C2. I expect C4 to be at least on the same level as the first 3 or I'll be disappointed. Obviously he needs to improve lyrically from IANAHB or it will be a huge disappointment

It's possible i mean no one thought Jay-Z could do better than reasonable doubt and blueprint. Black album and Kingdomcome killed that shit. So i beleive in wayne i think listening to these new harder spitters are going to encourage to once again prove that he is the best rapper alive.

Re: Standards for Carter 4.
I do think that Wayne should take some time on C4, put he works so much that he makes so many songs each day. One night he made something like 15 songs, so he has made plenty of music since being free, Im just mad that we havent got any new songs and/or interviews. But C4 is definately gonna be deep with lyrics and cant wait to hear what he is gonna put out :0

Re: Standards for Carter 4.
Cardinal Rule #1: No One In Cash Money/Young Money including Wayne tells the entire truth.......
Cardinal Rule # 2: If they comment on a Wayne recording, don't believe the hype until the product is heard.
Cardinal Rule #3: Anything that comes from Birdman is false....
Now the standards for the Carter IV is as follows this will ensure it being a classic....
1. Atleast a 24-48 period for a single song ...not including beat creation
2. Features must chosen because of their presence on record not affiliation to YoungMoney or Cashmoney
3. No YM (Or Birdman) features except Cory Gunz, Drake and Nicki Minaj....and they can't be on more than two songs
4. Every song has a subject, and verses tie into that subject.....
5. Pussy Cars Clothes Hoes can't be the topic of more than three songs
6. Intro must be better than any intro he has ever done before...
7. No Pharrell beats because most likely he is gonna want to sing on the hook...(NO NO)
8. Lil Wayne must be at his peak lyrically, try out different flows and make sure every rhymes is significant in its own right
9. Autotune is not allowed on more than one record.
10. Producers, Writers, and anyone associated with the creation of this product must be PAID....Mississippi x California x North Carolina

@Cli-City, I agree with all of those except #6. His Carter intros have all been epic so I don't think this one has to be better than they were, it just needs to be on the same level.Last edited by wolverinebball11; 12-02-2010, 09:54 PM.
