I know what you're saying. But, without me taking a step to get some shit going in the studio, we'd all wouldn't be doing this little cypher. And none of the mods really come to this section unless its to actually mod, so I think having one of us rappers running stuff for now is the only bet. I figured I'd step up cause I been on this forum/been in this section for awhile and I'm active, so yeah. And I know it was sketchy cause I posted the voting a few hours late, but I had my verse done the night before. I should have actually re-done it the day of cause my sinuses weren't as bad, but I was too highed up. My bro, J-Money is in town 'til like tomorrow so we been chillin', recording, smokin', partying, etc. So I was kinda busy the day of when the voting should have started, thats why I was a few hours late. But these cypher-competitions will only get better man. Trust me.

that's what I'm saying. you gotta learn to get comfortable in front of that mic with the beat or else the end product shows you as being lost. find that zone, like when wayne used to drink syrup - he found a place in his mind that just exploded with creativity. shouldnt matter what beat you're on, like all these other ppl are boo-wooin' about. a real rapper can spit 16 on anything, and if you wanna get to that point, you need to improve your craft.

i was there. i know. I'm still there. it still shows in what i do. I had to stop listening to Machete Muzik because every time I listened I loved the final product, its practically an album, but with every listen I saw the bits and pieces that didnt fit and every instance I could have improved on.

Noble - I totally agree. The only way to properly keep a community going is to be more invested in it. I applaud you're dedication and willingness to not just sit around and belly ache about things and get something start. I think because of this Cypher, things around The Studio have gotten more active and people are more eager to do music again. Look at Sentus...that dude never posts cause he's busy playin' football...he's posted like three songs in the last few weeks and did the Cypher. I'm posting songs more. More new guys are posting songs more. Red Herring popped back up a couple days ago. People are back at it, and that's more than just a good thing, that's a blessing.

Yung Diezel // I dont think Diezel did as fantastic of a job as he could of nor as people have perceived it. His sound alliteration is very nice, good multis, flow is on point as ever, but I dunno...just dont know why it didnt "pop!" to me. I'm going to listen to it some more and see what it is. Maybe its how the beginning sounds like he's slurring his speech or something, I dont know, but as far as a freestyle goes I think it was fantastic. Just something about it that bothers me. I'll figure out later i 'spose....

Sentus // I think this track proves how Sentus ISNT as f'n good as he thinks. That aside, lyrics were some of the strongest of anyone I've heard. Multi syllable rhyme schemes annoy me for some reason. I guess its how it all sounds "forced" in a way, but anyway Sentus put forth a superior effort lyrically, just needs to learn how to flow well on anything. Get that down and he could be one of the best in The Studio.

Yeah flow is always my problems lol, and it was especially bad here cause I was trying to remember rhymes as I was rapping it and I paused a little bit too much. I've just been writing since like 8th grade and I never wrote to beats so I can write really good lyrics but I can never flow them.
