The backlash on this song is the same as when lollipop and got money got released (maybe than it was even worse). It was so different from what wayne previously did, so in the end it was fresh for everyone. Because it was a new sound from Wayne that no-one heard before, also that's how you get a hit.

All these people wanting hustler musik part 2. Money on my Mind part 2. Go Dj Part 2.
I love these songs, but if you want that song, listen to hustler musik or listen to go dj.
A part 2 with the same sound does not work, and will also not get him any new fans.
If Wayne stayed in C1 area, or C2 area he wouldn't be as popular as he his now.
By steadily switching up his sound, he keeps himself likeable. BEcause he gives us so much music, it's very easy to become overexposed if you have the same sound, people will become tired of your music.

How To Love sounds fresh coming from wayne,
I'm more happy with this kind of song than a pitbull like house/hiphop mix,
which is what everybody is doing nowadays.
