He calls himself that cuz of the building "Tha Carter" in the movie which happens to be the name of his most famous albums series

Yes that's true but that's not the only reason why. In "Its Going Down" he said "I'm living like Nino" as in drugs and women. Also in "Single" he said "Nigga had to cancel that bitch like Nino". Wayne calls his self Nino because of the life style he lived in the movie.

We all know Wayne does what he wants. Surely him doing what he wants is him being himself?
Oh I see being fake is being himself.

I've never heard Aubrey try to sound hard. Hell, he just said he got beat up.
"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
                Guns and stretchers
                Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
'Cause cuz get hectic; send one through your sons intestines
Glocks knock lungs from chests, you get the portrait?
Bodies piled up on porches, it won't be gorgeous"

lmao @ this being considered hate...

                    good music= good music, though.

Rick Ross probably the fakest rapper alive but his good music overshadows all that... same with Wayne he one of the fakest as well but when he's actually making good music than I can't complain

He knows it. It doesn't fit him at all, he seems like a nice guy, and I think if he should quite doing it, change. He's getting older now, and if he starts becoming more honest in his lyrics he could be much better.

What do ya'll think about Wayne's lyrics?
Let's not forget that these lyrics are coming from someone who just spent 8 months in Rikers Island. I'll have a "I don't give a fuck" mentality too. The man just got out of prison. A lot of this is also good for record sells. It helps him identify with the younger people who are out there and angry, who would maybe label him a "sellout" like they did Hammer if he didn't have that "hard" side.

I feel like he's pretty soft, he needs to be a Man, and show his growth. he stopped Drugs, to to keep his freedom, now stop all of this violent talk.
He's totally loaded now; of course he's gonna be "soft." If you had millions of dollars I think you'd be taking it pretty easy, too.
