I don't really support leaks but I have to agree their is no PROOF that leaks have ANY correlation with album sales it is all about your fan base and their willingness to support you.

I don't really support leaks but I have to agree their is no PROOF that leaks have ANY correlation with album sales it is all about your fan base and their willingness to support you.

indeed. think of how many people that leak would actually reach.. couple thousand? 10,000? i wouldnt call 10,000 outta 300k "killing the numbers". plus most people will still buy the album even with leaks.

In fact, they might even raise hype. if a leak happens, some people listen to them, some hold off. regardless, most of those people will still buy the album. you my friend are a fucking idiot bring "Rebirth" into this becuase it is a prime example of how leaks DO NOT affect sales. It sold 176k in the first week, very good considering its theme and not well recieved singles (besides Drop the World).

there is no proof that leaks kill the numbers. If anything it makes stans feel obliged to buy more than one copy because they think buying 3-4 copies will help the sales.

It does not matter whether an album leaks or not that does not make people BUY albums.
