Yeah I remember reading that too. And it's true. I tried it out for myself and with iTunes files the bass is lower than the MP3's.

The grouprips the bass is better and the songs are more crisp if you get what I mean.

320kbps mp3 is pretty equal to ~260kbps .m4a i think tho
