yes he does he just puts 100 times more effort into 1 song then wayne would.
This, Wayne and Drake could be in the studio the same amount of time, Drake leavin with 1 track finished, Wayne leavin with 10 tracks finished, and 9 times out of 10 that 1 Drake track will be better than all 10 Wayne tracks

thats cos wayne is so much better, its effortless, if wayne was less talented, he wouldnt make music the way he does.
drake needs the beat to be perfect, the vocals to be perfect, theres worlds of production value and circumstance
to make a drake song sound good.
wayne can go in the studio w nothing, and the song be pretty great.
Drake spit that shit that you can't freestyle, has perfect melodies, more concepts, better hooks, more emotion.....etc.
lol @ more emotion.
him going thru his simp states isnt any more emotional, than wayne being excited, wayne being energtic, wayne being upset, wayne being dismissive, wayne being clingy, wayne being hungry, wayne funny, wayne being clever, wayne being cool
the myriad of emotions that wayne goes through on one song, make his entire body of work, more emotional than drake.
especially fundamentally, where waynes experience as a person, is entrenched in an emotional foundation.
his experience of new orleans is emotional, his experience of being in the hood, fatherless, whatever the case may be.
at his best, waynes emotional all the time, and sometimes hes emotional just by being cold.
as for melodies, concepts and hooks.
uhh, i man yeah maybe i guess, it helps that drake tries for that. also helps he has 40 there to help him.
i really dont know bout concepts tho, ive never alked away from a drake effort, and felt wow, this is such a good concept.
and i like drake, but when ppl get talking about the best, youve gotta understand theres a class issue, wayne is ultra elite. drake can write for days, but hell never get a rap out at the level of wayne, when wayne really really snaps on something.
waynes got places where other rappers cant go at all, in terms of rap performance.

that's the dumbest shit I've ever read, did you even read what I wrote?
Work ethic has nothing to do with going in the studio and pushing out 20 tracks in one go, work ethic is going in the studio and pushing out one track that is perfection
Wayne's not going in the studio pushing out 10-20 great tracks like you say, he's going in pushing out mediocre shit and every once in a while he'll have a gem in there, whereas Drake goes in there takin his time coming out with great tracks
and everybody saying Wayne has "such amazing work ethic"
his shit is no where near what it was before he got locked up
