This is cool for Drake and shit. But if you're counting streams didn't Wayne get 10 million in the first week on tidal and like double that on the other streaming sites before it was taken off, and like 10 mil in a day on the past couple of mixtapes?

If all these superstar artists were this big in the early 2000s they'd all be going diamond but they're so accessible because of the internet, which is what stops them from actually selling albums. Probably a huge chunk of those that listen to an album cant even be counted because they illegally download.
It's just a different era nowadays and you can't really compare album sales in 2016 to those in 2012 even.

With streams it's projected at 1.2-2 mil without streams it's projected 800- 1 mill sold
