nigga you confused, this a differant ball game. subscription streaming is people paying companies to stream duh, so why the fuck are these same people going to buy the album off itunes when they already paying a subscription to itunes streaming, the physical album not even out and the album gone platinum.

When Wayne dropped C3 you actually had to get in your fucking car and go buy it.... Yeah there was Itunes but nobody used it yet. Drake didnt sell 1 physical copy just some bullshit "Streams Equivalent" and kids spending the Itunes gift cards left over from christmas.

ya numbers are inflated alottt, and i was reading comments, they said that RIAA certifies all the streaming and crunches the numbers, it comes down to 10 songs as an album sale, so when people streamed this entire album, they technically streamed 2 albums, so the first day numbers drake said of 600,000 are really 300,000 if you take away the 10 songs is an album certification

Me i m just done done done in the hype

u r the one who is confused
I didn't say nothing abt streaming or anything

851k is what he sold via itunes

But I get what u r saying its true
but nonetheless that is what the album sales is for now without streaming or counting single sales which will contribute to his first week numbers

Comparing this to C3 or Eminem isnt fair at all streaming shouldnt even count as first week numbers they should be counted seperately

Why? You couldn't get a bootleg Eminem show in 2002 unless it was limewire(ew) it was much more harder to hear the album then compared to now where it's just available on the Internet so they had to innovate a new way to count consumption of music shit we don't consume it like its still '02

obviously why im saying its unfair to compare Views to C3 or Eminem COMPARE to have that written up as a seperate statistic is alright but to say 'DRAKE BET A RECORD SET ONLY BY WAYNE AND EMINEM' isn't fair because they're records were set in a completely different environment.
