I mean YM has been dead as a group since like 2013, and since Nicki (supposedly), Drake and Tyga have left, all the individual artists left careers are dead as well. No where really to go but up, and the more acts under the label the better chance atleast one of them is somewhat successful.

Drake was on BET prior to signing with YM so he was at least known with a fan base, Nicki was also gaining traction and on MTV/BET (I know I keep mentioning this but u know how much weight that network had in the mid 2000s), and tyga I can admit I don’t know or don’t remember much of him before YM.
