Oh the story I read was a 11 a-side football game between a local Under 18s team.

One of the kids fathers stepped in as a linesman to help out the referee.

But when he made a wrong decision, the opposite team and their parents started beating up the guy.

He ended up dying from the injuries Imagine being the son watching your dad die like that So shocking

I'm guessing this is different to the story you are talking about

He was only beaten by some players, not their parents.

Ahh I read it wrong, from BBC.

"The first legs will be played on either February 12/13 or 19/20, with the return matches on March 5/6 or 12/13."
