Nets have emerged as No. 1 choice for Dwight Howard, multiple sources say. D12 is expected to ask Magic to trade him to NJ.

^ wrong. Stern can dictate every trade that goes on in the NBA. The NBA owning the Hornets had nothing to do with the deal being rejected. Stern doesn't want players determining where they go. So Dwight can't go to NJ.

I doubt he would do anything about Dwight being traded. He was mostly pressured by the owners to veto the cp3 trade.

If the lakers dont get either cp3 or dwight then they lost big time.

Nope. From what stern did tonight and what ESPN reported, Stern can cancel any trade. He won't allow Dwight to go to NJ and if he does he'll lose in court to the union.


Also, that Dan Gilbert letter just helped the lakers and Union A TON. Thats huge! Because he doesn't even mention the other teams involved or CP3, only talks about the Lakers. Meaning that's a big arguement the union will use.
