    ^ we are reportedly close to a 2 year deal for Jason Kapono whose a great shooter. We have talked to Shannon about coming back because he's a FA, and if he leaves for more money I'd LOVE to have an Aaron Afflalo.


    Everything is pointing to us cutting Walton with the Ammensty cut as well.

        ^ man I'd love to have him in LA! Chicago wants him too... Haha!

        Anyways, most news today was reporting that the Clippers, Celtics, and Warriors were the 3 teams involved in the CP3 talks. And now once again straight from NBA.com reports are saying the Lakers are still very involved in serious discussions with the Hornets.

          He's restricted though, so he probably won't be going anywhere unless someone offers him more than $50M is what I've heard. Also fuck you if you get CP3 though lol

                Read an interesting article on the whole CP3 trade rumors and how the NBA won't allow him to get traded because the NBA currently owns the Hornets and if they traded him it would hurt the value of the Hornets franchise dollar wise and ruin the whole market for New Orleans basketball which is already struggling.

                  Naw this is false. This is how the Hornets were standing at the beginning of trade talks but have changed their stance. Since CP3 will not sign an extension in New Orleans, every source and indication is pointing to them wanting to trade CP3 before the season starts.

                  Before the season starts expect to see CP3 in a Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, or Celtics jersey. Although CP3 will only guarantee he'll sign an extension if he goes to NY or LA (Lakers), I can't see him signing an extension with the Clippers. It is LA, but he wouldn't want to be second fiddle to the Lakers.

                  Teams learned from Cleveland last year, if you're superstar hasn't signed yet he won't.. You can't let him walk for nothing as a FA. Which is why I think Dwight and Paul will be traded somewhere this season.

                    Didnt Luke Walton retire though? He's an assistant coach for Memphis in NCAA
