That lost is good besides the Nuggets being 5th. Hell no!

Don't sleep on the Nuggets. They're good and SI isn't the only place picking them to be one of the best teams in the league.

JR Smith isn't even very good and they replaced him with Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer so that's not a loss. The Nuggets have a lot of young talent and some players primed to have breakout seasons (Lawson, Gallo, Afflalo to name a few). They were also the best defensive team in the league last season after the Melo trade. Playing great D and being fresh when other teams aren't will get you far.

Even with all that..calling them a top 5 team in the league is a little premature..guess we'll see

He's talented, but he's not that good. Career 42% shooter from the field, 37% from 3, 70% from the line, averages as many turnovers as assists. Not that good aside from the 1 or 2 games a season where he gets hot and scores 35+.

There's a reason he's always been a bench player. His playoff numbers aren't any better than his regular season numbers either, they're actually a little worse.
