Serious question. Is there any way smoking weed in the dark can fuck with your high.

I rolled two joints, with the same weed. Smoked one in my lit room and had a nice high. But then I smoked the other down in my basement with no lights on, got mad dizzy and a bit nauseous. And it's happened before, that's why I think there a correlation
