The music business hate me
'cause the industry ain't make me
Hustlers and boosters embrace me
And the music I be making
I dumb down for my audience
And double my dollars
They criticize me for it
Yet they all yell "Holla"
If skills sold
Truth be told
I'd probably be
Lyrically
Talib Kweli
Truthfully
I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
(But I did five Mil)
I ain't been rhyming like Common since
When your sense got that much in common
And you been hosteling since
Your inception
Fuck perception
Go with what makes sense
Since
I know what I'm up against
We as rappers must decide what's most important
And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them
So I got rich and gave back
To me that's the win, win
The next time you see the homie and his rims spin
Just know my mind is working just like them
(The rims that is)
Now Wayne and Nicki is an example of what a sell out is.

Dude how long have u even been listening and following Jay?You know why Wayne is like how he is now? That nigga is no longer hungry. When I first heard this song I could feel that he wanted to be at the top and he would search within himself for the best lyrics to get there...now? Wayne got so comfortable at the top that he just began to stop rapping like Lil' Wayne and began rapping and acting (dressing) like a different person. 1999-2008 Wayne would be appalled to hear how 2009-Present Tunechi is rapping. I guess money does change people.

there are better rappers than him already in this generation.
all he rapped about were world issues, problems.
anyone could rap about those, his words were simple yet they
meant things.
that doesn't mean he's the goat rapper.

.........................hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha
so rapping about how much money, cars, and girls you fuck is better than what Pac rapped about? The difference between rappers back in the day and rappers now is that back in the day, it was a way to express there feelings, and help other people. Now a days rappers only make songs for the clubs. Pretty sure nobody really raps about the stuff Pac did. Nice try though. And what rappers today are better than Pac? Stop it your like 14 or 15. Mainstream hip hop fan smh....
