In Greece we are also orthodox and we celebrate xmas on 25th

lol, maybe cuz greece uses julian calendar officially (i think), we use gregorian calendar, so our 25th xmas is 7th of january..

It's so weird that some countries still use that old ass calendar.

Yeah, it's cuz ortodox churches don't wanna use something that is catholic work..

I actually read more into it..and Greece churches officially use Gregorian calendar, that's why they celebrate Xmas on 25th..
And our church, and russian, and some other countries, still uses Julian calendar, and that's why we celebrate Xmas 13 days later..

So officially, all countries use gregorian calendar, it's just that some churches don't use it, so these holidays that our church celebrates are celebrated 13 days later..

So I made mistake in previous post, it's Serbia church who uses julian calendar, not Greece..
