Thats why i am getting a sick bike instead, taxes are not that bad on them.

haha i bet, the first time i got a quote i had a Jeep. and i said, "oh fuck, ok, sell the jeep". now my insurance on the mustang has gone down considerably, and now that i can put them all on a group policy, it's not that bad. just gotta keep your nose clean for the first couple of years.

For some reason, it's not expensive to insure a bike in Denmark, but it's very expensive to insure a car for a "new driver" just like everywhere.
Experience counts the same car/bike, so because i have had a car for 4 years i am not considered as a "new driver".
I am already being given the lowest insurance policy they can offer. Pretty nice.

Nice! The exhaust, cai, and tune alone make any car 10x better than what they were.

Only real performance mod I have on my car is a aftermarket air filter

But with 426 horses stock I think I'm pretty set for a bit

Last year my insurance when I was 17 was £2,100 per year (somewhere around 3700-4000 dollars$ for americans) and my car is only a 1.2 litre engine and is a 2002 plate... least it's going down loads every year now..but still that's so fucking high.

Damn thats even worse then what I paid when just got a car.
Was about 1200-1300£ a year for a Mazda 1,8 from 1996. It's down to 650£ now for a VW Golf.
Didn't think it was that crazy in the UK, like that episode of Top Gear where the bought cars as young people showed.
