    Re: BCS Championship!

i won't watch any college football until they get a playoff system so we can see if teams like boise st. and tcu can actually play against the 'better' teams in the nation

The BCS doesn't generate nearly that much. Switching to a playoff system would be good for all parties involved
in money wise your correct i never looked at it that way!

A playoff just makes too much sense to not be implemented:
        1. It would give you a true champion every season.
        2. There would never again be a team who finished the season undefeated and didn't win the National Championship (Like TCU this year).
        3. It would generate WAY more money than the BCS does.
        4. It gives you 15 post-season games between elite teams versus the 5 you get with the BCS.
        5. Teams would be more in their comfort zone and have the same amount of preparation time as they do in the regular season as opposed to the "National Championship" game this season where both teams had over a month off and were clearly rusty at the start of the game.
        6. It takes away all the controversy that happens during so many seasons with the current system as to whether or not the Championship game is really between the 2 best teams, because they both would have played their way there.

I just don't see any way whatsoever that the BCS is anywhere near as good as a playoff system.
