Do a lot of bjj. Have a blue belt right now. Done about five grappling tournaments so far. Do a little kickboxing and muy thai but not a whole lot. Just enjoy the ground game a lot more. You?

Yea I'm all about the ground game. Purple belt in Jiu Jitsu. I train boxing, kickboxing, and muay Thai with Ben Rothwell if you've heard of him. He just knocked the fuck out of Brendan Schaub a couple weeks back.

Thats sick bro. Wish I was in an area with more of an mma/bjj scene. Im from Arkansas and I think last I checked there was around eight Black Belts in the state.

Yea my old (first) BJJ professor was from a Gracie Barra in Arkansas.

Is that what you got out there? Gracie Barra, or just some family owned gyms?

Man actually there were a couple gracie barra schools but they all kind of faded into different affiliations. I'm home from college and right now I train at gym called Omega BJJ. A purple belt teaches but we have a black belt in right now named Mark Bradford who got his BB from Alberto Crane.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia apparently is getting one last chance to make good in a big show.
Sylvia has signed a deal and will fight recent Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix champion Daniel Cormier at an event planned for Sept. 29 at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, Calif.
Interestingly, Sylvia signed a multi-fight deal despite the impending close of the Strikeforce heavyweight division.
