anyone know any apps that speed up the phone system, as well as another app which speeds up the browser?

Not that I know of. I would just get a new browser I use Opera

i use Firefox over the default browser. its more user-friendly imo. and i know if you have an asston of text messages it can slow down your system. i deleted like 2000 of mine the other day and that shit runs fast as fuck now.

I would use Firefox but my processor on my phone is ARMv6 and Firefox will only work on ARMv7 and above :/ even overclocked it still won't run

And for anyone interested in tablets I shall give you this warning: DO NOT GET THE LG SLATE. It doesn't have a texting app like the Galaxy Tab, nor does it have oovoo. It didn't even have Google Voice in the Market. My mom got the tablet for me and my sister and I just dislike how laggy it is...

Overall: T-Mobile has much better tablets than the LG Slate.

lol thats why the new IOS 5 is just now getting widgets that HTC has and OTA updates and lets not forget the drop down notification barplus a whole lot more but i don't wanna get into. i know pretty much everything about windows 7, windows 7.5(mango), webOS, blackberry, IOS, and Android since i'm gonna be getting in the business of phones. Android will be the leading OS in the next coupe of years and IOS will drop down so yeah ipad is real good, its only taken about two years for it to get what android has had since the beginning. apple is just now catching up. shouldn't try to talk when you know nothing about all the platforms

for everyone has far as tablets go. get something with gingerbread. honeycomb is not very stable and probably wouldn't be for about another 6 months. they are already at version 3.2 cause of the bugs and also half the apps will not work on honeycomb cause devs aren't creating them. the Flyers is one of the best if your looking for a 7 inch tablet otherwise i'd go with the blackberry playbook because you can run android apps and also the blackberry store. Just my 2 cents on tablets.

Also for better battery life besides juice defender (wouldn't recommend Task killer) task killer can hurt your battery life. android has its own and works just fine. i would say turn off the auto sync or make it to where it syncs less like every 3 or 6 hours instead of 1 or 2 hours. that will increase it big time and also lowering screen brightness

I would've got a Froyo/Gingerbread tablet but I wasn't with my mom when she got the Slate. Of course the T-Mobile pretty much played her cause the Slate can view and make 3D movies -_-. I just use it now as a personal hotspot that's all it's good for.

lol sorry i was still really heated from another forum about this stuff cause the dude was drop dead serious

I would've got a Froyo/Gingerbread tablet but I wasn't with my mom when she got the Slate. Of course the T-Mobile pretty much played her cause the Slate can view and make 3D movies -_-. I just use it now as a personal hotspot that's all it's good for.

yeah the try and sell the 3d. to help with the laggy screen, try to remove some widgets cause that will help a little and as far as the market thing, turn off fastbooting and then see if they are on the market. you should be able to download handcent or go sms and idk about oovoo. i didn't know they had an app on the market but i just looked on my tablet and i can download it. do you have skype in your market?

They have Skype but all my friends use oovoo :/ and I tried to install GoSMS and it wouldn't let me send a text out, I had to download that off the internet smh. I have Google Voice from the Xoom and it works fine. I only have apps on my screen it's just the device is being stupid lol it has a Tegra chip in it but runs like it has a ARM processor underclocked... And the market is a joke. And the weird resolution on this tablet prevents me from putting swype on it. All the other tablets have swype and mine can't. I like that I can watch and play Flash games though...
