looks good. i'ma downloiad it but how do i dual boot if i like it? cause i'ma test it out by running it within windows first

I can't remember which one I downloaded but when you boot up your computer it should give you the option to choose Ubuntu or Windows

couldnt u have just used vmware instead of actually installing ubuntu on the computer?

no, the instructions said not to do it with a virtual computer.

ah i think thats if you install on a cd of usb first then actually install it to your harddrive but idk anything about that. i have a internship at a computer company and they have videos on linux that i watch but hopefully my M11X alienware computer can handle both which it should lol

well i didn't have to download EVERYTHING cause my google saved which apps i had but some of them didn't save. like Handcent and stuff.

ah well i use it cause i switch roms like every week cause i get bored fast so it is faster and handy with contacts and pictures and stuff

never figured out titanium backup. i use it only to get rid of bloatware

honesty, i love it. Best one ive used so far, any time i have app issues or issues after an upgrade it makes it so easy to restore everything the way it was, gives u the option to just restore the app, or app and the data with it.

how do you do an automatic back up?

add it to the schedule in the settings. free version only does it 2 days a week but i can just change the dates around and do it whenever u want. Like mine does it sundays and wednesday at 4am

Are you running stock or a custom ROM?

I use to have CyanogenMod 7.1 but it kills my battery way to fast.
