I don't agree with it. Though, I don't agree with anyone using it. I understand that when friends say it amongst each other they don't mean it the way some people take it. It's hard to move forward together when you have an offensive word being tossed around like it's nothing. It may be nothing to you, but it means something to someone somewhere. It's still a racial slur whether you are joking around or not, and you can scream about freedom of speech but you are offending people. But it's just an ignorant word that to me only shows ignorance and immaturity when I hear it being used. But that's just my two cents, and I'm not sorry to say it.

I'm white, I'm in a 5 year relationship with a black man and have three mixed babies. My boyfriend doesn't use the word, I sure as hell don't use the word and my children will be raised to not use that word.

how do you chose to be jewish when its fosed on you? and when ur born a jew no matter if you practice it or not you are a jew so its the same thing i am sorry that my family was part of a geinced(sp) and we where killed for just being jews.... and blacks whent thew the same thing just not as bad i just dont get it..... untill rap music and manstrem midea stops useing nigga then every one can stop usesing the word

Nah I voted no..I know the majority of you guys here are white and use it all the time & I just tend to ignore it but it sort of gets on my nerves a little but whatever. I'm not black myself so I just let it go, but if I were I don't think I'd be ok with it. Some of you are gonna say what Luc said "Freedom of Speech" but to other people it might be offensive reading or hearing that word from a white person. Luc, you don't see your fav rapper use the word and hes white, so why use it yourself? I don't use it & I live in a neighborhood where everyone uses it on a daily basis from Hispanics to Blacks and that's all there is where I live. I still avoid using it even though they don't mind me using the word. I just don't see what moves you guys to use the word so often? Do you guys live were it's used daily by everyone in your guy's environment? Or is it just plainly off of the music you guys listen to? No offense to anybody.

the reason i say nigga and im white is because i was grown up around it.
i basically lived with a black family and they called me their "nigga"
so i just thought it was alright to say it.
and i ONLY say it as a reference to like bruh, fam, bro, etc.
i dont use it racially at all.
