I haven't decided whether I should invest my time in it or not
not a super big fan of older, b&w, foreign movies
But Kurosawa is a genius

If you like Paranormal Activity just a little (or you don't, but wanna watch a good found footage movie), I think you're going to digg Grave Encounters. It's imo one of the best found-footage horror films.

Actually liked it more than the PA movies.

Me too.

I've never liked any of the PA-movies tbh. They are boring, not really scary and it's like watching paint dry... But even though Grave Encounters may not have the biggest budget or the greatest actors, it delivers the scares and a surprisingly well-written story too.

The Collector - Great suspenseful horror movie. It's creepy, it's intense, and although it isn't straight up original it does seem to bring something new to the screen anyways.

The Collection - Awful sequel. They took 'The Collector'-character in a very wrong direction, and to me he's now less creepy and far more weird and uninteresting. Only good thing about this sequel is Arkin, played by Josh Stewart. Amazing peformance. To bad he's alone on that one...
