    Is the book any good?
Talking about Goodfellas... I just watched that (finally) for the very first time. Amazing movie, one of the very best in the gangster/mob genre. It covered so much ground and the performances were great!

i dont get what scale people are using to rate movies... like jet li the one is one of my fav martial arts movies, i genuinely like that. but it has a super shitty rating on rotten tomatoes. like what standard are they rating it against. anyways..

i mostly watch martial arts movies tho. anyone have any that i should check out? ive seen all of the ip man movies and all of tony jaa movies.
Jet Li's Fearless, one of my favourite movies. The Berlin File was alright. The Raid: Redemption is quality, I assume you've watched that if you're a martial arts movie man.

yeah basically, it's about captivity, how they get captured, how it affects them. its a bunch of former sea world trainers opening up about what's going on behind the scenes

                        Watched Captain Philips yesterday.

Great intense thriller, love what Paul Greengrass did with this story. Tom Hanks was as always great. People call it his best ever peformance, I wouldn't say that - unless we are talking the last 3 minutes of the movie, then it could very well be the most believable performance I've seen from Hanks.
The pirates were all very believable as well, and overall I enjoyed the movie although it was just as expected. Nothing more nothing less.

Btw, I've told myself I'll never watch a trailer ever again. Teasers, maybe, but no more trailers. I'm tired of 2:30-3:00 minute trailers ruining the whole movie. I still wait in anticipation on November 7th so I can watch Gravity! There was a trailer for it in the cinema yesterday, I just sat with my eyes closed all the time lol.
