But will Wayne get the same recognition if he died today?

I lol at people who tell others that Wayne isn't "hip-hop" and to listen to B.I.G. and Pac. Its like those are the only good rappers many know to say in an argument. While love Pac's emotion and material, I must say he's vastly overrated, but this is due to his fans. The same goes with Immortal Technique, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar stans.

Pac is way overrated. He's cool though & he definitely made good music. But people that say "Wayne would be working in McDonalds if Pac was alive" is just not true.

Tbh anyone can make songs about rape, struggle, murders, death & all of that. And people will say its "good music" because its real. But that music can only go so far. No one wants to hear all of that all the time.

Kendrick stans are verryyyyy annoying. Everyone says he's the best rapper alive now & that just isn't true. I love Kendrick but he still has a long way to go to be the best.

if you like Lil Wayne, you must hate lyical focused music, if you hate lyrical focused music, you must like wayne.


I guess some people aren't like me, I love both kinds of music. Southern style and lyrical style.

I just prefer weezy because I was born and raised in the south and I weezy was a big part of my childhood.

Especially 5th grade through middle when weezy was in his prime. Drought 3 Carter 3 ect.

Word up. Immortal Technique stans think they know all about underground hip-hop and history just because they listen to him. I love all these artists, but the fans are the reasons why there's so little respect for each others taste.
