If "Islam" was the "religion" to follow, God would have said so, But God just wants you know him and follow the 10 commandments. He dont care about religion. The word "Religion" is mentioned in the bible like once or twice, it aint important.

As a Chrsitian, personally, if I encountered a homosexual, I wouldn't run or treat him differently, but depending on how much times ill be seeing that person, or how often we encounter each other, ill let him know, and tell him about Jesus.

But also, some people, just dont wanna go to heaven, some people cant live life without sin, without secular music, without lusting, without porn, etc. Some people just might be miserable in heaven, and wheter they choose to accept this free gift from God, its up to them bro.
