possibly, possibly not, the only thing that can kill godzilla is the 'oxygen destroyer'

if youve seen the first ever godzilla movie you'll know what im talking about, nukes, bullets, tanks etc dont hurt godzilla at all, this being said the man who created the oxygen destroyer in the first movie is in this one as well, so he could die at the end, or he could not depending on how they want to continue with the series (legendary has copyrights to 3 godzilla movies)
