I helped you further up Skim But here is what I said again

Make sure you are logged on as an Admin or you can't do a restore.

Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, Restore to an earlier time, Select your restore point, If a message appears click OK, A confirm screen will display just click on next, the comp will then restart, completion screen will be displayed after log on click on OK.

Oh thanks. But when i go to System Restore it says "System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain Administrator."

      :suprised:

I'm not too good on Domain Admins but as far as I know what it means that your comp is either a part of a group working off of one server or main comp which the admin will have to give you access to do the restore or you are part of a domain for another reason. To fix that problem your easiest option would be to go to

Control Panel, Classic View, or go into Performance and Maintenance and select System in the new XP view.
          Select the Computer Name tab.
Click the Change button and you should be able to change to a Workgroup mode there.

That may make it work for you. My only other suggestion would be to log into another admin account on your comp. If it's a shared comp or whatever and maybe a parent has set up the first account they will have domain admin rights, you will only have local admin rights

Yeah i tried that, it said i gotta restart my computer. So imma try that after im done posting this.

But this is my personal computer, theres no other users on it or accounts. But maybe if you could post me some links that might work or have useful information. When i go to Google and search. Once i click the link, it takes to me these spam sites (searchclick8.com or something like that)..

Ok, well turn on your 'automatic updates'

                "Turn on Automatic Updates:
The best way to obtain Windows XP SP3 is to turn on the Automatic Updates feature in Windows XP. To turn on the Automatic Updates feature, follow these steps:
-Click Start, and then click Run.
-Copy and paste, or type the following command, and then press ENTER:
                sysdm.cpl
-Click the Automatic Updates tab, and then click to select one of the three options. We recommend that you select the Automatic (recommended) option, and then choose the time that you want under Automatically download recommended updates for my computer and install them.
                -Click OK.
-After you turn on Automatic Updates, your computer can start to download updates automatically."

That should take care of it since it automatically will search for anything you dont have the latest for.
My songs are being uploaded to iTunes right now! Thank you so much!
