Not here to "hate" on whatever you got, but it sounds to me like some of them fake files you can download. It happened once to me with Relapse when I got it like 2 months before the tracklist was revealed & the tracks that were in the file I got looked like they might've been legit but then when I tried playing em it gave me the same message about the files being corrupted. Then I checked the notepad file that came along with the tracks and it said to subscribe to atleast 3 offers at some bulshit website in order to get instructions on how to "unlock" the files, so I just threw em in the recycle bin & moved on. When the official album actually leaked I noticed that all of the tracks that I had gotten a few months earlier were all fakes. That might be what it is, take it or leave it.

Nah i had someone send me the files. This dude who had them, and couldnt get them unlocked either. I mean it could be fake, but its worth trying to repair the files. It would be good for the site if it is exclusives. Id give em to Danny to release, well some haha. So i mean what the heck, we might as well try to see if we can fix the files..

Skim, I'm telling you now those files are fake. Don't waste your time man, If they were the official tracks, trust me, somebody would have unlocked or uncorrupted them by now and leaked it to the internet. I suggest just deleting the entire folder off of your computer, as it may contain a virus.

Anyways, is "Smart Popup Blocker" only for IE? or is it also compatible with FF?

LOL it means its not gone.......it might've just changed.....try to run your computer in safe mode, then do the antivirus. Like where you shut it down, it should say, restart in safe mode. If not, ask somebody else b/c I cant remember how to make it do it.

Edit: if not, just re-d/l your internet browser by going to the website.

Yeah you gotta press F8 to get into safe mode. By i re-downloaded the internet browsers, and ran the antivirus in safe mode. Still didnt work, FML.

                  Re: Official Computer Thread

Try running anti-malware again, if not then there is a few things that may help...

                  1. Try resetting your internet browser, normally found in tools <internet options < advanced (It may be slightly diff for Firefox I don't use it as you know Skim so I'm not sure)

                  2. Check your firewall, often if you download or delete something it will change your firewall settings, I know it sounds stupid but try turning the firewall off and seeing if that works.

                  3. Again in internet options there is an option to turn off protected mode, this should never really be done but it may stop the unwanted ads coming. If it does then try turning protected mode back on and seeing if that's cleared up the problem.

Google did a similar thing to me twice in the past few days but the reset has worked for me each time. The reset will not remove any bookmarked/favorite pages you have but it will go back to it's original form so if you have a default page when going on Firefox that will go back to normal etc...

You cannot delete a program that is running at the time, im guessing you haven't 100% removed the virus, and if it's one of those sneaky one's it has duplicated it-self and spread though your window system folder.

                    1. delete everything in your browser cookies, temp files etc...

                    2.download kaspersky free trial http://usa.kaspersky.com/trials/home-users/anti-virus/

                    3. run a full scan with kaspersky & malwate btyes and if something is detected run your computer in safe mode

                    4. download this tool to completely remove and program doesn't matter what the condition is http://download.cnet.com/R-Wipe-amp-Cle ... 59835.html

Why not just go to control panel and uninstall and delete the program, no need to download anything else. And no point deleting everything on the browser, just because it's no longer on the browser doesn't mean it's deleted off the comp, if you go to start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk clean-up and delete things that way then they will not be on your comp at all.

Better yet if the virus is recent why don't he just restore his computer to an earlier stat problem solve.

His system restore has been turned off by domain admin so he won't even have any restore points to go back too and there is no guarentee that a restore will fix the problem, certain things don't go away with a restore, a virus is quite often one of them.
