Alright...On my PC I have Windows 7 64Bit and I'm trying to install some updates, but I keep getting a damn error. The Error Code I get is 80073712. I've done a bit of looking around, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Any ideas?

I did a lil research and found this:

Windows Update fails with error code 80073712

May help, few good suggestions in there.

edit: it seems its a component store error, i'd just restart comp and try again, or just wait a few days to see if it clears up and try again.

"0x80073712 ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT The component store is in an inconsistent state. "

Heh, I've been having this problem the past couple days. Sometimes it will find XX updates and only download/install half of them. Right now there's 17 that need installed. I don't have the slightest clue what to do.
