Why are my settings changed? I updated windows and suddenly I can't change this anymore. Well, I can change it, but when I set it to Windows Vista Basic or Windows Aero theme, they won't change.

Use System Restore to set it one day back, or restart your explorer... Go to joblist by right clicking the taskbar, and go to Processer and fidn explorer.exe and click "End Process" Then go to Programs in the joblist window, and click "New Task" and write explorer.exe in it. That should work mate

Naww don't system restore for that!! Only do system restore if you really have to (if your registry is fucked etc)

All you've done is moved it. Just keep fiddling with it I remember doing this it's a fucking pain to get back you can do it. Google for some answers if you're still stuck

Try going to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and make sure there is a map called "Aero" and a file called "aero.theme"

It's not to do with his theme, he's just made it so it displays two rows of tasks instead of one. All he needs to do is get his mouse to the top of the task line and close it down abit and they'll be back to normal..
