It's not to do with his theme, he's just made it so it displays two rows of tasks instead of one. All he needs to do is get his mouse to the top of the task line and close it down abit and they'll be back to normal..

Oh.... Well as Wisheezy said, just click on the top of the taskbar and drag it down... And if you can't, its because you locked the taskbar... Just right click on it and remove the check mark at "Lock Taskbar"

No that's not it. I have a Windows '98 theme now while I have Vista running. When I set my theme back to Vista Aero or Vista Basic, things won't change.

I know that I have 2 rows of tasks. I like having it that way.

Maybe you got aero turned off? Dude if i were you, i would backup the most important files and do system restore...
