Separation of church and state is a wonderful thing ain't it?
Pretty much hits the nail on the head saying that while everyone is busy getting painted like rainbows they are forgetting that the Federal Government just gave itself the ability to 'overrule' State's rights and the Tenth Amendment.
Not a conspiracy , as it happened. It's the truth.

Despite the perceived advance in civil liberties however, these new ‘rights’ were constructed in a way that sets a very dangerous precedent—that the federal government is able to dictate non-constitutional law to the States.

And I bet you weren't crying when DOMA went in during the 90's. It's whenever the Supreme Court rules against your core beliefs, people will start complaining about states rights and activist judges. Happens every time. Supreme Court > State's Rights.
