That's cool and all that Bernie was there for the Civil Rights movement, but I can't condone his "champion for the poor" mentality when he lived off the government throughout the 70's and currently has approximately $65,000 in credit card debt when he has about a $200,000 salary from the Senate. Then, he wrote a book and gave all the profits to charity. That's noble and all, but why not pay off your debt while you're at it? He's a freeloader, along with his supporters. The "young people" that he's striving off of for votes won't appreciate what he's doing when they aren't under their parents' roofs anymore and are paying their own taxes. Not to mention the fact that he's a "non-religious" Jew (the worst kind) that is opposed to the name of God in the Pledge of Allegiance. I fear that if we allow a leftist like this to take control of our nation, the name of God will slowly disappear from the public eye and morality will begin to further diminish. You don't have to be religious to agree with this. The Soviet Union took away God from the public sphere, and look what happened.

I don't think he has a fighting chance to get the nomination despite his three big wins this past weekend in Hawaii, Washington, and Alaska. If he does manage to pull off the upset, I feel he'll set up the Republican Party with a guaranteed win.
