We have been this way ever since the New Deal and the "Cold War" when we funded Communist countries blindly thinking that if we kept the stomachs of Communist citizens full they would revolt (instead of directly supplying Nationalists with arms). What our government failed to see is how that only makes the citizen outlook and perception of Communist and Socialist doctrines more positive; although the United States has been an engine of Liberalism for quite some time like you said. We're at the forefront of a more sinister agenda. George Bush just came out and said he believes he is the last Republican Party president. I wonder if the Left created Trump to destroy the Right in America? The "Cold War" should've been focused on our own turf and that's what Senator Joe McCarthy did. He was an American hero and in our liberal education you're taught that he was just some mad man that pointed his finger at all of the "pinkos". They even force you to read a political satire about the Salem Witch Trials ("The Crucible") written by a Jew that is meant to parody and ridicule McCarthy; foisting the mind of the naive high school reader to portray the Religious Right as a bunch of "Jesus freaks" and Conservatives as "bigots", "old school", and "closed minded".

Well gotta be honest, I don't have much knowledge about that part of US history, as it's not something I learned in school or on my own. What I said, I said from my personal perception of USA people and politics.

IMO, a good dictator is what every country needs in order to be strong, successful and respected.

Or like Churchill said: "the best arguments against democracy is 5 minute conversation with the average voter".

I want times when there were kings that were respected, now everyone is in politics even stupid motherfucker that don't even know what the fuck they are doing, or people like Clinton. Fuck that, as long as people like HER have chance of becoming a president, I don't believe in democracy.

I'm probably going to read The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion after I read this book on the desecration of the American flag and the numerous legal cases surrounding it; then eventually I'll make my way to it. I hear Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes is another great philosophical piece on authoritarianism.
