This is my first project so don't be to hard on me, but tell me your opinion, whats good and whats bad!

I do like the whole idea behind what your tryin to do.
Use the pen tool when cutting out Wayne and find some higher quality images. The Lil Wayne font looks a bit edgy I'm sure there's a file on the forums for is font or just the file.
Fair enough you used brushes but don't use them too much it sometimes makes your work look cheap.
Use textures and blend them in to make a back ground an mess around with brightness and contrast.
Also just download some fonts and mess around with different fonts.

First try then it's not bad.
You should practice some blending, some blurring, some gradients etc.
