in photoshop you post the picture then duplicate it and desaturate the top layer. then it will show a black and white ima but the layer under it is the color version. just erase on the desaturated pic what u want coloured in and it should do it.

Or just do a gradient map (Black and white) and rub out the areas you want coloured. Simple
