Firstly no MJ didn't "loose it" but he did LOSE it. Go get Pele to play against Cristiano Ronaldo and watch what happens, Ronaldo would dominate Pele, but wait if you can't lose talent then surely Pele would win or at least make it a close match. Yes you can lose talent, stop trying to be correct and start being realistic.

Secondly, MJ was about to have a tour to do what...oh wait I think everyone already knows, it was to pay off debts that he owed, he wouldn't have done it other wise. Whether he fell off due to losing his ability as an artist or not he still fell off, he was nowhere near as good as he was, that's falling off. He fell from his peak, from his best, to something less special, less amazing.

Every music artist goes down hill, they lose their ability to continue to make music at the highest of levels, Wayne is riding a wave of success which really came around after Lollipop, he maintained the success by his rapping style but if he keeps hitting so many metaphors and similes then one of three things will happen...He will either run out of them and switch up his style which could make him fall off or he'll start to re-use lots and fans will notice it and get bored which will make him fall off as he'll be washed up or lastly fans will just end up getting bored of his style cause he can't alter it to anything else that works that's away from the punchline style he has now. If you want to argue with that point I suggest you eat just ham sandwiches and nothing else for about 3 years before you reply to me telling me that won't happen, you'll get bored eating the same thing, fans will get bored of the same thing. C4 will be a big thing for Wayne, it will be the same style we are used to or he'll take it a little deeper or a little angrier and push fans in to enjoying a new style of Wayne.

Yes to pay off debts but that doesn't mean he was broke in the sense you could understand lmao He owns Beatles discogrphy the man would've still been filthy rich for life. He was not "less special or less amazing" I watched THIS IS IT and the magic was still there. He was not at his peak, the man was 50 I think its safe to say that. But to say he lost it, you're delusional. His dancing and singing ability were still unmatched today, ahain if he fell off nobody was ever on.

When wayne runs out of metaphors or similes we can talk. When Jay-Z becomes weak we can talk. Not everybody goes downhill, some become less active or reinvent themselves. Just wait for C4 and stop the speculation garbage, because honestly...you don't know jack shit. Thanks sir.

Paying off debts means you don't have enough money to pay. Aka, broke.

And to everyone saying this 'less special/less amazing', its all opinion. I didn't even think MJ was good. I couldn't stand him and his high pitched girly voice.

            Re: Let's Be Honest Here..

@superman2 - Start to think carefully, if an artist has got older, if they have past their prime then they are not as good, MJ at the time of Thriller was better than MJ just before he died. Sales for Michael Jackson's albums went down after Thriller, and you're gonna try and tell me he didn't start to fall off? Yeah he still pushed huge numbers but he was falling off.

Jay-Z after Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life his sales began to decline more rapidly, he pulled it back more for the Black Album but still an album that's done over 5 million compared to one that comes out doing 1.5 million, he started to fall off.

Now to Wayne, when you look at his last 2 RAP albums one was his best album the other wasn't, which one wasn't as good the latest one. If Wayne is bringing out music like that then he will start to fall off sooner rather than later, that's why I did say C4 will be a big thing for him, he needs to mix it up or falling off is actually a very possible thing to happen in the next 2-3 years. If you got C4 and for arguments sake C5 and they were just like IANAHB and didn't do well in sales and were not too highly regarded by critics, maybe even slated by some then you can say Wayne fell off or is falling off.

Why am I even talking to you kids? You realize he was still a multi-millionaire right? Much richer than Wayne even. SMH why bother.. MJ broke is going from billionaire to millionaire.

and if you didn't think MJ was good...thats your problem.

@4747, contact me when you've heard C4 and not basing it off IANAHB. Thats dumb.

No it's not dumb, I've just proven with 3 different artists that all 3 have declining sales based from their peak in sales album. The thread is about Wayne falling off in 2012, I'm saying it's possible, I also said that IF C4 and possibly C5 are LIKE IANAHB then the possiblity of him falling off is likely.

First off, I'm probably older than you.

Secondly, even if he went from billions to millions and wasn't able to pay off his debts, depending on your interpretation of the word 'broke', means lacking funds. Which he was.

I'm a long time fan, but come on. If you honestly think he can do these same punchlines over and over and not 'fall off', you're delusional.

i see where every1 could think hes fallin off but i just dont think he is.. C3 was a huge success..

Rebirth was a "experimental ROCK album he didnt target the audience of hip hop with that one..

No Ceilings Mixtape proved to be the best mixtape to come out that year (HIGHLY SPOKE ABT ON TV AS WELL AS PLAYED ON THE RADIO)
as a mixtape to have songs played on the radio is pretty a dam good success seeing that it was just free music for his fans

IANAHB was suppose to be an EP which he was in jail for and was just something for the fans to keep us occupied while he was away

now hes HOME and can get back to his CARTER ways.. i dont see any fall off lol i dont even see REBIRTH & IANAHB counting as albums tbh lol just IMO tho
Life Is The Bitch, And Death Was Her Sister

Sleep Is The Cousin, What A Fuckin Family Picture

You Know Father Time, And We All Know Mother Nature

Its All In The Family But I Am Of NO Relation

That's why I didn't mention Rebirth as it was experimental. IANAHB like it or not is music that Wayne thought was okay for release, whether you see it as an album or not that's besides the point, the music was seen as good enough to sell but it falls well below par of any of the Carter Series. If that's how C4 ends up (like IANAHB) then I really think he's falling.

Let me clear up I don't think he is falling or has fallen off yet, I'm trying to say it is possible and I'm giving examples of that to try show some people that he could fall off by the end of 2012.

When I think about him possibly falling off, I don't even look at Rebirth or I Am Not A Human Being. Rebirth due to it being experimental (which, IMO, as an experiment did decent), and IANAHB as it was just to hold fans over. People have said it contained songs that were supposed to be on CIV, which is why people are worried.

I'm just looking at his solo or feature songs during the CIII to present time that are not on his albums. It's the same punch line flow. Which, in small doses is fine, but not every song. Each song has the same content, in either the same exact words or it's re-worded a little bit. (Example: Popular Vs. Bedrock)

He needs to learn quality > quantity.

                          Bliss is talking sense.

But what two Wayne albums have had the same style?
None. Apart his earlier stuff. But Im sure C4 will be different to IANAHB in a big way
