    "I hear Brenda's got a baby
But, Brenda's barely got a brain
    A damn shame
The girl can hardly spell her name
(That's not our problem, that's up to Brenda's family)
Well let me show ya how it affects the whole community
Now Brenda really never knew her moms and her dad was a
    junky
Went in death to his arms, it's sad
Cause I bet Brenda doesn't even know
Just cause your in the ghetto doesn't mean ya can't grow
But oh, that's a thought, my own revelation
Do whatever it takes to resist the temptation
    Brenda got herself a boyfriend
Her boyfriend was her cousin, now lets watch the joy end
She tried to hide her pregnancy, from her family
Who didn't really care to see, or give a damn if she
Went out and had a church of kids
As long as when the check came they got first dibs
Now Brenda's belly is gettin bigger
But no one seems to notice any change in her figure
    She's 12 years old and she's having a baby
In love with the molester, who's sexing her crazy
And yet she thinks that he'll be with her forever
And dreams of a world with the two of them are together,
    whatever
He left her and she had the baby solo, she had it on the
    bathroom floor
And didn't know so, she didn't know, what to throw away and
    what to keep
She wrapped the baby up and threw him in the trash heep
I guess she thought she'd get away
    Wouldn't hear the cries
    She didn't realize
How much the the little baby had her eyes
Now the baby's in the trash heep balling
Momma can't help her, but it hurts to hear her calling
    Brenda wants to run away
Momma say, you makin' me lose pay, the social workers here
    everyday
Now Brenda's gotta make her own way
Can't go to her family, they won't let her stay
No money no babysitter, she couldn't keep a job
She tried to sell crack, but end up getting robbed
So now what's next, there ain't nothing left to sell
So she sees sex as a way of leaving hell
It's paying the rent, so she really can't complain
Prostitute, found slain, and Brenda's her name, she's got a baby"

Is a storytelling song, it has a plot, it has a climax and it has a ending. Tie My Hands has NONE of that, it just has a subject. It's a shame you claim to be so educated but i had to break this down for you, dickrider.

---------- Post added at 05:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:10 PM ----------

No, all their stories are told the same way. The all have plots, climaxes and endings. The "color tone" comparison only comes in when discussing the kind of story it is.

"As I was beatin on a cop, I heard a gun click (uh-ohh)
Then the gun shot, but I wasn't hit
I turned around it was my homie with the gun in hand
He shot the cop (damn!) now he's a dead man
I said, come on, it's time for us to get away
(Let's go, we gotta get the fuck outta here)
They called for backup, and they'll be on their way
Jumped in the car, and tried to get away quick
The car wouldn't start (damn!) we in deep shit
So we jumped out (C'mon let's take the cop's car)
We drove a little ways thinkin that we got far
But I looked up, and all I saw was blue lights
If I die tonight, I'm dying in a gunfight
I grabed the AK, my homie took the 12 gauge
Load em up quick, it's time for us to spray
We'll shoot em up with they own fuckin weapons
And when we through sprayin (audi) then we steppin
This is a lesson, to the rednecks and crooked cops
You fuck with real niggaz, get ya fuckin ass dropped
So here we go, the police against us
Dark as dusk, waitin for the guns to bust (What's next man?)
    What's next, I don't know and I don't care
One things fo' sho', tommorrow I won't be here
But if I go, I'm takin all these punks with me
Pass me a clip G, now come and get me
You wanna sweat me, never get me to be silent
Givin them a reason, (a reason) to claim that I'm violent..."

This has a plot, climax and ending. Thus making it a story

"Left the house, pullin' out the drive backin' out
Need a backin' out this lady's Jag started blackin' out
Pulled the Mac-10 out, stuck it in her face
Shut ya yackin' mouth before I blow the brain from out the back ya scalp
Drug her by her hair, smacked her up
Thinkin' fuck it, mug her while you're there, jacked her up
Stole her car, made a profit
Grabbed the tape from out the deck and offed it out the window
Like the girl on Set It Off did
Jetted off kid, stole the whip, now I'm a criminal
Drove in thru somebody's yard, dove into they swimmin' pool
Climbed out and collapsed on the patio
I made it out alive but I'm injured badly though
Parents screamin': "Son, go in and call the police
Tell 'em there's a crazy man disturbing all of the peace!"
Tried to stall him at least long enough to let me leap up
Run in they crib and at least leave with some little cheap stuff
Actin' like they never seen nobody hit a nick before
Smashed the window, grabbed the Nintendo 64
When they sell out in stores the price triples
I ran up the block jumpin' kids on tricycles
And colliding with an 80-year old lady with groceries
There goes the cheese, eggs, milk and Post Toasties
Stood up and started to see stars
Too many siren sounds, it seemed like a thousand police cars
Barely escaped, must-a been some dumb luck
Jumped up and climbed the back of a movin' dump truck
But I think somebody seen me maybe
Plus I lost the damn Nintendo and I must-a dropped the Beanie Baby
Fuck it I give up, I'm surrounded in blue suits
Came out with a white flag hollerin' "TRUCE TRUCE!"
    Surrendered my weapon to cops
Wasn't me! It was the gangsta rap and the peppermint Schnopps"

This is a story, it has a plot, climax and ending

    "Who the fuck is this?
pagin me at 5:46 in the mornin crack a dawnin
now I'm yawnin, wipe the cold out my eye
see who's this pagin me and why..
It's my nigga Pop from the barbershop
told me he was in the gamblin spot and heard the intricate plot
some niggas wanna stick you like fly paper neighbour
slow down love please chill drop the caper
remember them niggas from the hill up in Brownsville
    that you rolled dice wit
smoked the blunts and got nice wit
yeah my nigga Fame up in Prospect
nah dem my niggas nah love wouldn't disrespect
    I didn't say dem,
they schooled me to some niggas
that you knew from back when,
when you was clockin minor figures
Now they heard you blowin up like nitro
know they wanna stick the knife
    through your windpipe slow..
so thank Fame for warnin me now I'm warnin you
    you got the mac nigga
tell me what you wanna do.."

    IS A STORY

But, back on topic. Who really cares? lol

Your whole argument is that you wont' consider Lil' Wayne a great artist without a "storytelling" song. He has some, like previously posted. It's just the way you interpret it, Tie My Hands, Something You Forgot, Pray to the Lord. Three great examples.

It may not be a DIRECT story like the one you posted, but all those songs have a plot, climax, and ending.
Also, I never "claimed" to be "so educated", I was just pointing out your flaws. I'm not a "dickrider", just someone who has been a fan longer than you.
show me the climaxes and endings in all three of those songs, because this is seriously getting ridiculous

              [Lil' Wayne talking:]
              what`s up
              it`s me
              yep, uhm
i`ve had plenty episodes with various women, but it`s just this one i must tell you about...

              [verse: Lil' Wayne]
              i met her in Victoria`s
she was hotter than a crown victoria
on my block on a friday at 6:00 yep
i was on her yung joc
she made me lean and rock
i tried to tell her my name but laughed more so
because she looked like tell me somethin i don`t kno
so i told her my number and i got hers also
and of course she knew i had a girl, i wouldn`t be in the store
so we hooked up that morning like around 4
and at that time i knew what she was down for
              yep
soon as the door opened, war opended out
she was such a soldier, purple heart pokin out of her fatigues, and she`s never fatigue
and with her, whatever i say she believes
and my girl know i got a magic show up my sleeve,
but with her, i can disappear when i need
              and she say...

The climax comes later in the song when she tells Wayne she want's to fuck Juelz and him at the same time. Kinda gay.

Re: Wayne needs a storytelling song

My favourite Wayne tracks are his real story telling ones. He has many from back in the day but the last year and a bit he's done nothing but spit the same verses over and over (money, bitches, life's a bitch, fuck the world) they become so predictable which really made me reconsider my favourite emcee in hip-hop again. But surely enough when he came out of jail he started laying some real hard verses down which made me have faith again.

I fucking hate when rappers only ever brag about money or bitch/dealing/being a gangsta and all that. It's so fake and not real I know it's relevant to them (the money part anyway) but it's so much better to relate to the music and rap when they give you a image, a visual, a story, pain, suffering, things that are on your mind, just your lifes feelings because you can relate to it and that's what it's all about.

Tie My Hands & Misunderstood are my favourite real raw story telling Wayne songs.
